Learning on twitter?

While I was unable to attend METC14 this year I was able to follow the conference on twitter. I really appreciated everyone sharing out their experiences from the conference. 

On Thursday I was able to participate in my first Twittwr chat, #moedchat. The topic was METC14.  In the hour long discussion I was able to answer a few questions and see how experiences from the conference will translate into the classroom. I really enjoyed hearing everyone's thoughts. I was also very pleased with everyone's positive attitues. The chat itself was very fast paced with everyone responding to the questions. It was a bit overwhelming. At times I was looking for a pause button in Tweetdeck. I was also able to increase the size of my PLN by adding all the active participants in the chat. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and look forward I next weeks chat.
