Here are a few boards I am following. I am always in need of ideas for class parties and strategies on teaching to all different learning styles. Pinterest is a great place to share ideas for the classroom. I really like being able to send pins to my team that supports what we are doing in our classrooms. Great tool in my PLN.

Flipped learning is an amazing site(powered by NING) that I have only just begun to explore. Right away I was amazed at how much information was being shared about flipping classrooms. There are forums for educators of all types to discuss and share ideas that are working in their classrooms. I have joined the beginning flippers forum. This has given me a support group for teachers who are trying to flip their classrooms. I love the ideas that I am taking away from everyone. What a great way to meet the needs of all of my students! I'm really looking forward to trying this in my classroom.
I feel as though I have only skimmed the surface of all the ways I can use social networking sites to develop my PLN. If you recommend any others please feel free to leave a comment.
Thanks for the links to Pinterest. I really liked the interactive Bloom's Taxonomy pin and the shake it for sight words. Great resources! I haven't explored the Flipped Learning site yet....but I definitely will. There are so many resources to build your PLN that I didn't even know existed until this class. It is amazing how many resources there are for educators. I love exploring and learning new things to share with my staff.

DeleteI joined the flipped learning network as well! I am looking to flip one of my 8 week classes coming up because we have to cover so much material in such a short amount of time. I am apprehensive about doing it because I have never tried it before, but this network has really helped. I love all the resources!!! Thanks for sharing and Good luck!
